Bath based design agency Mytton Williams were delighted to receive Silver in The Roses Creative Awards design strategy category 2012.
The award is for the creative thinking behind the West of England Design Forum brand identity. The logo itself was crafted with significant versatility. For example, parts of the logo have been utilised in a 3D poster for the WEDF Morag Myerscough event. This particular treatment of an identity is rare. Most corporate identities are designed with strict usage guidelines to achieve consistency.
By designing in opportunities for the identity to be adaptable to new treatments, they hoped to reflect the collaborative nature of the forum. Their friends at Positive designed the WEDF website where you can see the brand in action.
